Section 011. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files that a website may place on your device through your browser.

Similar technologies include browser local storage, pixels, tags, and other methods used to remember information or support website functions. Local storage is stored in your browser but is not a traditional cookie.

Section 022. How Eimdal Uses Browser Storage

Eimdal currently uses limited browser storage for preference and functional purposes.

This includes remembering a selected language and, in relevant legacy flows, remembering access or signup state. Authentication storage may also be used where a person actually signs in.

We do not currently use browser storage for active analytics or advertising tracking on the public website.

Section 033. Preference and Functional Technologies

Language preference

forgeblast_locale stores the language selected by a visitor. It is local storage, not a traditional cookie, and remains until the visitor clears it.

The key retains a legacy Forgeblast name and may be renamed later. Its current purpose is limited to remembering the language preference.

Section 044. Legacy Access and Functional Storage

Legacy gated-page access

eimdal_landing_access is local storage used only to remember access to relevant legacy password-gated pages. It remains until cleared by the visitor.

Legacy partner signup state

eimdal_pro_account is local storage that may be set by the legacy partner signup flow. It remains until cleared by the visitor and is conditional on that flow being used.

These legacy technologies do not define Eimdal's long-term analytics or advertising setup.

Section 055. Authentication Technologies

Where sign-in is actually used, Eimdal's authentication service may store session information in local storage under a project-specific authentication key.

This technology is conditional: it is not intended to imply that every ordinary public visitor receives authentication storage. Its duration depends on the authentication configuration and session state.

Section 066. Current Cookie and Storage Inventory

The following inventory reflects the current verified website implementation.

The development UI includes a sidebar_state cookie configured for seven days, but it is not used by any production page and is therefore not listed as an active website technology.

Section 077. Analytics Technologies

Eimdal does not currently operate an analytics platform on the public website.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are not active. Eimdal may introduce analytics in the future to understand page views, acquisition, engagement, performance, and conversion or event measurement.

Section 088. Advertising and Marketing Technologies

Eimdal does not currently deploy Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel on the public website.

No Meta or TikTok pixel cookie names or durations are listed as current because these technologies are not active.

Section 099. Planned Analytics and Marketing Technologies

The following technologies may be introduced later. Each is not currently active.

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Not currently active: may support page-view, acquisition, engagement, performance, conversion, and event measurement.
• Google Tag Manager (GTM) — Not currently active: may centrally manage analytics and marketing tags.
• Meta Pixel — Not currently active: may support campaign measurement, attribution, and marketing-effectiveness analysis.
• TikTok Pixel — Not currently active: may support campaign measurement, attribution, and marketing-effectiveness analysis.

If these technologies are enabled, this Cookie Policy will be updated and appropriate consent controls will be introduced where required. Actual cookie names, storage behaviour, providers, purposes, and durations will be documented from the real implementation when activated. We will not publish unverified names or durations before deployment.

Section 1010. Your Browser Controls

Your browser may let you:

• delete existing cookies
• clear local storage
• block some or all cookies
• change permissions for websites
• review stored website data

Blocking or clearing functional storage may reset a language choice, sign-in session, or relevant legacy access state.

Section 1111. Your Privacy Choices

Eimdal does not currently provide a dedicated cookie-preference banner because optional analytics and advertising technologies are not active.

If those technologies are introduced, future controls may allow choices for categories such as Necessary, Analytics, and Advertising. Those future controls are not currently implemented.

You can currently use your browser controls to delete or block cookies and clear local storage.

Section 1212. Third-Party Technologies

The public Eimdal website does not currently actively deploy Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or TikTok Pixel.

Future providers may include Google, Meta, or TikTok if the planned technologies described above are introduced. Their involvement, purposes, technologies, and durations will be documented based on the actual implementation.

Section 1313. Children and Younger Users

Eimdal is intended for users aged 13 and over.

Before introducing analytics, advertising, or profiling technologies, Eimdal will review the safeguards and legal requirements that apply to children and younger users.

This policy does not state or imply that targeted advertising to minors is currently enabled.

Section 1414. How Long Technologies Last

The durations currently verified are shown in the inventory above. Local-storage entries remain until cleared by the visitor unless the relevant feature removes or replaces them.

Authentication-session duration depends on the authentication configuration and session state. We do not publish estimated or invented expiry periods.

Section 1515. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising, or other similar technologies changes, or when legal requirements change.
